There’s a local competition for young photographers and the deadline was today.
My camera broke a few days ago, so all the photos that I had planned to do for the competition theme ‘Looking forward’ were never taken.
There were also a mighty fine amount of tears…
Anyway I’ve spent the last couple of days looking through every photo I took this year that I can pass of as ‘Looking forward’, re-editing them and then deciding at 40 minutes to midnight with Brittany by my side, which were the best three to enter. Voila!
I’m know I’m not going to win. But I had to try.

I was really, really lucky and College chose my photographs as one of their three pieces from the year to take to London to be shown at a nationwide, collective exhibition of the UAL course.
They took the pieces down today and I can’t wait to see the exhibition. I’m so honoured that they chose my work from such a vast collection, of incredible talent.
I still can’t believe I’m going to be exhibited in London! :D
